REDEVELOPED COOP ADDS 79 NEW LUXURY UNITS TO ELMHURST NEIGHBORHOOD
Veteran developers Myles Horn, ABC Properties and Fisher Associates have unveiled 79 redeveloped units at The Continental Park in Queens, New York’s Elmhurst neighborhood.
Queens, New York—Veteran developers Myles Horn, ABC Properties and Fisher Associates have unveiled 79 redeveloped units at The Continental Park in Queens, New York’s Elmhurst neighborhood. The Freyer Collaborative-redesigned units are part of a 153-unit residential building located at 87-10 51st Street and sales commenced on October 18.
“New Yorkers are still discovering Queens, and we believe Elmhurst is one of the best neighborhoods for today’s homebuyers,” says developer Myles Horn. “With The Continental Park, my partners and I saw an opportunity to re-create a beautiful coop building and bring necessary affordable luxury development to market. It’s clear that the market is eager for this type of product. Our inquiry list was more than 1,000 strong before the sales office even opened.”
Units are available in studio, one-, two- and three-bedroom floor plans. The studio units average about 500 square feet, while one-bedrooms are offered in sizes that range from 600 to 900 square feet. Two- and three-bedroom units are offered in sizes of 830 to 1,050 square feet and 1,200 square feet, respectively.
Prices start at $185,000 for studios and three-bedroom units start at about $510,000. Nu-Place realty is exclusively handling the marketing and sales for the building.
The renovated residences at The Continental Park feature high-end finishes including espresso solid oak flooring, gourmet kitchens with stainless steel appliances, custom white stone countertops and imported Italian cabinetry. The bathrooms include porcelain wall and floor tiles, custom tubs and high-end fixtures. Additionally, many units have large private outdoor areas and washer and dryer hook-ups.
